Hive Content Structure

Groups:

  • Highest level, equivalent to a course. Groups comprise of pathways - which may or may not be a sprint.

Sprints:

  • Structured modules that take users on a pre-defined learning journey by releasing pathways in a pre-set order
    • e.g. week 1 - pathway 1 is released, week 2 - pathway 2 is released.

Pathways:

  • Equivalent to modules. Pathways comprise of cards

Cards:

  • Equivalent to pages, lowest level of learning object within the framework. Cards (sometimes interchangeably called “resources”) is a reusable asset across groups. “Resources” is also an area in Hive where we host cards and pathways.
